Cowgirl Birthday Party at Claremore Lake Park

Howdy, Feathered Friends!

I just cannot resist sharing some adorable photos with you from my daughter’s 2nd birthday party.  Little Emma Jayne recently turned two years old & we celebrated with a rowdy bunch of friends & family at the beautiful Claremore Lake Park.

Being August in Oklahoma, it was unfortunately over 100 degrees outside. But we stayed cool in the shade & enjoyed our Cactus Juice & Sweet Tea, while we played some fun games.  If you are interested in reserving a pavilion at Claremore Lake Park, you may contact the Parks & Recreation Department by calling (918) 342-2522. The pavilions come with electricity, a water pump, & plenty of big tables.

Alright, ya’ll!  Round up!  Without further ado, here is the Birthday Cowgirl!!!

I purchased Emma’s darling little dress from Sweet B Clothing.  Based out of Angleton, Texas, Sweet B Clothing has so many adorable handmade items for sale, it is hard to choose a favorite! We highly recommend you to check out Sweet B Clothing on Etsy or "like" them on Facebook!

We also want to say THANK YOU to Patsy's Pony Fun from Pryor, Oklahoma who provided pony rides for all of the little buckaroos.  Owner, Patsy Hough, offers pony rides for company picnics, festivals, birthday parties, fundraisers, or school, church & club events.  All of the children seemed to really enjoy hopping on a saddle for a stroll around the park.

Emma’s boots were a gift from one of her favorite cowboys, Jim Small, who is the Controller at Drysdales in Tulsa.

This day was somewhat bittersweet for us, as it was also somewhat of a "sendoff" party for my husband & Emma's Daddy -- SSgt Robert E. Cope -- who is deploying for the next few months.  Ssgt Cope serves as a member of the 138th Fighter Wing of the Oklahoma Air National Guard.

Also in attendance were Pastor Rick Burke & Pastor Tracy Morgan with his wife, Shannon, from Cedar Point Church.  Pastor Rick led us in a prayer thanking the Lord for this joyful day of celebration & asking for His blessings to watch over Ssgt Cope while he is away.

All of us behind the scenes at Full Feather Photography want to thank those who were able to attend & those who were there with us in spirit.  We are SO grateful for all of the loving friends & family that have supported us through the years & we are very much looking forward to our next rodeo!
