Spring Mini Sessions at Persimmon Hollow

Full Feather Photography has teamed up with The Mercantile at Persimmon Hollow Village, to offer photo mini sessions during the "Spring Fling" Arts & Crafts Festival. The Festival will take place on April 12-13th from 9:00-5:00 each day, but we will only be taking photos from 10:00-2:00 on Saturday & 1:00-5:00 on Sunday.  

There are many other activities, including face painting, a scavenger hunt, & an Easter egg hunt! Persimmon Hollow is located near 71st & Garnett, behind the Salvation Army store. It is an 1880's village on 3 acres with 30 shops full of antiques, furniture, crafts & other unique items.

Due to the nature of this event, we will not be reserving time spots for sessions. They will be available on a first come, first serve basis. You may purchase a Mini Session ticket from Shelly at The Mercantile store anytime during the fair. Cash, check or credit card accepted.

Our Spring-themed set will be just outside the door of The Mercantile. We will allow up to 3 children per ticket, ages 6 months to 12 years. The sessions will only last about 10 minutes, so we can keep the line moving quickly. If your child does not cooperate within that time frame, you are welcome to bring your ticket stub back another time.

You will receive 1 complimentary digital image of your choice (with print release) via email about two weeks after the event. Additional prints or digital items will be available for purchase from Full Feather Photography. Tickets are non-refundable & non-transferable.

Just Hatched – Meet Sweet Baby Grant!

Welcome back, feathered friends!

Today we'd like you to meet some very special people: baby Grant and his older brother, Lincoln!  

Congratulations to the Butler family! We are so honored that you chose Full Feather Photography to photograph your boys.  Our session was triumphantly successful and we are head-over-heels in love with this special little guy & his big bro!

Lincoln is so happy to have a younger brother, and he made that apparent at our shoot!

“I love the photos from the newborn session. We just did 3 month photos with my first child and I really regretted not doing newborn photos,” says mother, Nicole.

“I worried we wouldn’t capture the shot I really wanted (not even really knowing what that was, I just knew I would know when I saw it). Not only did I get that shot, but many many more!”

Big Brother Lincoln has been a great helper around the house and he was the perfect little assistant during our session.  We did have one “outtake” however…

One thing’s for certain – baby Grant will always have someone looking out for him!

We supplied most of the props pictured here, but Nicole came up with the gorgeous blue balloons, the red stool & the baby blocks. We did provide the cream newborn stretch wrap that we purchased from Beautiful Photo Props. We love, love, LOVE it!!!  It is a lifesaver if you need to help baby fall back into a deep sleep.  And it photographs beautifully! We will certainly be purchasing a few more of these wraps to have in our inventory.
